Provide decanting premises
Subject to availability, vacant school premises may be provided to international schools on a time-limited basis as decanting premises to facilitate their expansion or redevelopment plans. The purpose is to provide a separate accommodation for students affected by the expansion or redevelopment plans. The Education Bureau does not guarantee the provision of decanting premises which would meet the needs of the existing international schools. Should school operators have plans which may require the use of decanting premises, please contact the Education Bureau as early as possible and preferably one year prior to the use of the premises. This is to allow sufficient time for arrangement such as the searching of suitable premises and the execution of tenancy agreement. An application will only be considered if the school operators would submit a clear and feasible exit plan regarding the decanting premises.
